Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Cambria Hotel Lake Placid - Lakeside Resort. As a Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest service and creating a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests warmly and ensure seating arrangements are organized efficiently.
  • Present menus, take orders, and deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain clean and orderly tables, clear empty plates and glassware, and refill water and beverages as needed.
  • Familiarize yourself with menu items, daily specials, and promotions to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
  • Stay informed about hotel facilities, events, and services to provide guests with accurate information and assist with inquiries.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service flow and maintain a harmonious work environment.
  • Adhere to all food safety and health regulations, maintain cleanliness standards, and ensure the dining area is safe and hygienic.
  • Process guest payments accurately and securely, handling cash and credit transactions following hotel procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a server or in a related customer service position is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
  • Customer-oriented with a strong desire to provide outstanding service.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per the hotel's operational requirements.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights for an extended period.
