Job Title: Population Health Analytics Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Population Health Analytics Specialist to join our team at Johns Hopkins Health Plans.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, public health, and healthcare systems. This role involves analyzing health data to identify trends, evaluate interventions, and support strategic decision-making aimed at improving population health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret health data from various sources to identify trends, disparities, and outcomes in population health.
  • Assess the effectiveness of health programs and interventions, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making and policy development.
  • Identify opportunities for quality improvement and participate in initiatives to enhance health outcomes and service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a healthcare or public health setting.
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and findings to diverse audiences.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
