Overview

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our Maternal-Fetal Medicine department, you will work closely with our specialists to obtain high-quality images and provide exceptional patient care. Responsibilities

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Working collaboratively with our Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists to obtain high-quality images and provide exceptional patient care.
  • Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of various ultrasound devices and technologies.
  • Performing high-level sterilization according to Clinical Compliance standards following each exam.
  • Assisting our MFM physicians with complex procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
  • Reconciling patient medical and prenatal history, current medications, and medication allergies.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to leveraging diversity and inclusion in support of quality care.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A 2-year / Associate Degree in a related field, required.
  • ARDMS certification, required.
  • RDMS, OB certification, required.
  • NT Certification, preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently to obtain high-quality images.
  • A working knowledge of various ultrasound devices and technologies.
