Store Environment Team Member

Maintain a high standard of overall store appearance and cleanliness, ensuring a positive customer experience. Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers in finding products and resolving issues. Perform various tasks to maintain store organization and efficiency, adhering to company standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and dispose of trash, adhering to approved procedures.
- Dust and damp mop floors, following approved protocols.
- Move equipment and products for cleaning and restocking, ensuring proper placement.
- Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Deep clean key areas, including bathrooms, breakrooms, and high-traffic areas, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Keep cleaning equipment organized and notify supervisors of supply needs in advance.
- Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
- Complete all tasks assigned by supervisors, adhering to federal, state, and local guidelines.
- Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers, upholding company values.
- Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other team members.
- Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling to standards.
- Engage customers on benefits of rewards programs and private label credit cards, completing enrollments.
- Assist with omnichannel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
- Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
Work Environment- Ability to remain standing for long periods.
- Ability to move throughout the store.
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
- Public retail store setting, with climate-controlled areas and some outdoor work.
