Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at Dental Care Alliance. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following established protocols and procedures.
  • Prepare patients for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, and positioning them for optimal care.
  • Provide information to patients and staff by answering questions and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist dentists during various treatment procedures, including instrumentation, suctioning, and material preparation.
  • Expose and develop radiographic studies, pour, trim, and polish study casts as needed.
  • Fabricate temporary restorations and clean and polish removable appliances to maintain patient appearance and oral health.
  • Document dental care services by charting in patient records and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Conserve dental resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently to accomplish job results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • Experience working as a Dental Assistant preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, dentists, and other staff members.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; formal dental school training or certification preferred.
