Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Med 4A department, utilizing the nursing process to ensure professional accountability. They will evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers, coordinate patient care with other departments, and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care in the Cardiac Med 4A department, utilizing the nursing process to ensure professional accountability.

Requirements
  • Current RN License required, eligible or licensed in the state of Missouri.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Cardiac Tele, specifically for inpatient care.
  • Required certifications include BLS from AHA, with the candidate needing to have 4 trauma credits completed or obtain them within the first two weeks from the start date, and NIHSS (which may be obtained prior to start if not already acquired).
  • ACLS from AHA is a preferred certification.
Work Environment

The Cardiac Tele RN will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced healthcare professionals. The department uses Alaris pumps, telemetry, and lift equipment, and the EMR system in use is EPIC. The hiring profile emphasizes experience in Cardiac Tele and patient care for a variety of conditions.
