Travel Nursing Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at DCH Regional Medical Center. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a high case load, providing exceptional patient care in a Med Surg/Tele setting.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg/Tele setting, with a focus on cardiac monitoring, gastrointestinal experience, renal failure, IV, heparin/insulin/PCA, ortho experience, CVA, spinal cord and traumatic brain injury experience.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Participate in cardiac exams during orientation and maintain certification in BCLS.
- Float within specialty and between campuses, with a willingness to adapt to changing patient needs and unit requirements.
- 2 years of experience in a Med Surg/Tele setting, with a strong background in cardiac monitoring, gastrointestinal experience, renal failure, IV, heparin/insulin/PCA, ortho experience, CVA, spinal cord and traumatic brain injury experience.
- EMR experience required, with training in Meditech Expanse provided during orientation.
- Chemotherapy administration certification preferred.
The unit is primarily Ortho/post-surgical and trauma, with a select part dedicated to oncology patients. Chemotherapy is sometimes administered by trained nurses who are certified. The facility is a fast-paced environment with a high case load, requiring flexibility and adaptability from our Travel Nurse RN.
