We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Blake Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
  • Assist the surgical team with patient positioning, preparation, and care
  • Pass instruments, sponges, and sutures to the surgical team as needed
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team
  • Assist with cleaning and sterilization of equipment and instruments
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (NCCT, NBSTSA)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience in a hospital-based OR setting preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
