Job Summary

To ensure high-quality standards are met during fabrication, we are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to perform visual, dimensional, and non-destructive examination of components and products. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and ability to interpret results accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct visual inspections of components and products to ensure compliance with drawings, standards, and specifications.

Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) examinations, including magnetic particle testing (MT), penetrant testing (PT), and visual testing (VT).

Interpret results and report any abnormalities to the Quality Engineer or Foreman.

Calibrate measuring and inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.

Additional Responsibilities

Work safely and securely, adhering to safety rules and procedures.

Perform small repairs, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on inspection equipment.

Operate mobile equipment, such as jib cranes, forklifts, and towmotors, to move materials and equipment within the plant.

Assist with general laborer duties as required, including grinding, loading and unloading of trucks and railcars, and bricking the furnace.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

2+ years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.

Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions

Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Exposure to noise, dust, and other hazardous materials.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
