About the Role

Apotheco Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients and customers
  • Prepare and label medications for patients
  • Process prescriptions using computer software
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of medications and supplies
  • Coordinate patient deliveries and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment
  • Verify insurance coverage and process payments
  • Apply manufacturer coupons and process credit card transactions
  • Update patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
