Position Summary

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor acts as a vital link between Distribution, Campbell Snacks Sales, and independent Distributors. This role is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, enhancing Distributor relationships, and ensuring effective communication with both Distribution and the Campbell Snacks Sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Management

• Audit, adjust, and break down daily shipment loads.

• Distribute and invoice products to Independent Distributors based on their daily requests.

• Process stale or unsaleable credits to Distributors in line with company policy.

• Account for and balance all daily shipments.

• Manage warehouse expenses, particularly labor and utility costs, to control spending and adhere to budgetary constraints.

Inventory Control

• Order and maintain adequate supplies of dry product inventory.

• Ensure sufficient POS inventory at all times to support promotional activities.

• Distribute and invoice dry inventory to Independent Distributors.

• Conduct daily counts and balances of inventory to ensure appropriate levels, fairly allocating shortages and overages.

• Organize and stage dry inventory for efficient distribution and accountability, rotating products to maintain freshness and minimize losses.

• Achieve inventory accountability objectives.

• Track dollies to minimize losses, adhering to Dollie Management Program guidelines.

Support for Field Sales Force and Distributors

• Foster a positive environment in the warehouse during loading times to enhance engagement levels for our Independent Distributors.

• Stage product orders as specified on Independent Distributor order scrolls.

• Print and communicate all Independent Distributor billings and reports via the Warehouse Management System (daily/weekly).

• Provide accurate and consistent billing information for Independent Distributors.

• Assist with customer or retailer service inquiries.

• Arrive at the warehouse punctually to ensure timely support for all customers.

Safety and Sanitation

• Maintain a safe and clean facility at all times, both inside and outside, displaying appropriate signage (safety, food safety, and personnel-related).

• Ensure compliance with all Food Safety and Safety Measures.

• Keep all equipment in proper working order and maintain necessary training and certifications.

• Complete and report all Safety and Food Safety inspections, addressing any identified opportunities promptly.

• Maintain proper lighting and working conditions.

• Provide first aid and blood clean-up kits as needed.

• Adhere to all safety procedures and processes as outlined by the Campbell Snacks Safety Coordinator and OSHA to mitigate the risk of accidents and injuries.

• Uphold sanitation standards in accordance with Campbell Snacks Food Safety and OSHA Safety Compliance.

Communication

• Maintain consistent communication with the Field Sales Force and Independent Distributors regarding upcoming promotional events and display opportunities to facilitate the ordering process.

• Communicate with the Field Sales Force regarding product cuts, shortages, and quality opportunities.

• Relay Independent Distributor information, questions, and concerns to the management team in a timely manner.

• Report any necessary warehouse repairs and arrange for timely completion.

• Report any service or transportation issues (e.g., late trucks, product cuts).

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in inventory control/management, warehouse, or manufacturing settings
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree
  • 2+ years of inventory management experience
  • 1+ years of warehouse experience
Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $49,000 and $80,155. Individual base pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total compensation may include other forms of remuneration. Additionally, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k, and wellness benefits starting on the first day of employment.
