Job Summary

Fisher Industries is a leading provider of aggregate production and heavy civil construction services. We are seeking a highly skilled Asphalt Paver Operator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate paving screeds, rollers, pavers, and other heavy equipment to apply asphalt products efficiently and meet job specifications.
  • Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup and ensure all necessary safety protocols are in place.
  • Communicate effectively with other paving staff, drivers, and laborers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Perform general housekeeping and maintenance of equipment and plant on a daily basis, including repairs and service as required or directed by supervisor.
  • Set up and tear down equipment as needed.
  • Work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
  • Lift objects weighing up to 80 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Use hand tools such as shovels and rakes to move material.
  • Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by OSHA and company policy.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean motor-vehicle record to meet company insurance guidelines.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel to different job sites and projects throughout AZ.
  • Mechanical knowledge of equipment and ability to perform routine maintenance.
