Job Summary

Sunland Asphalt is seeking a skilled Asphalt Raker to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and even application of asphalt mixtures on various construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate rakes and other equipment to level and smooth asphalt mixtures
  • Work closely with the crew to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and activities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 6-12 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Current driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
  • Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires occasional evening and weekend work. You will be required to travel to various job sites and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
