Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Academic Staffing Inc. in Chesterfield County Public Schools. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing therapy to students with speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote students' academic and social success
  • Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required
