Job Summary:

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities in our patients. You will work closely with our healthcare team to provide high-quality care and services to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop treatment plans
• Provide therapy services to patients, including speech, language, and swallowing therapy
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and services
• Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in the facility

Requirements:

• Valid, unrestricted license in speech language pathology in the state of Missouri
• Meet educational requirements for licensure
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
• CCC certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Active driver's license and reliable transportation
