  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to promote resident well-being
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Providing training and support to staff members

Responsibilities:

The Director of Social Services will be responsible for:

  • Leadership: Providing strategic direction and oversight to the social services department
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures
  • Staff Development: Providing training and support to staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care
  • Resident Care: Ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and support, including referrals, admissions, and discharges
  • Communication: Collaborating with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and ensuring that residents and families are informed and engaged in the care process

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the Director of Social Services must have:

  • A license in Social Work in the state of Colorado
  • Experience in social services, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations and facility policies and procedures
