Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at ABSMC-Ashby Campus. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized physical treatment programs to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning in patients.
  • Conduct patient evaluations and tests to identify problems and develop a Plan of Care (POC).
  • Assess and provide treatment for patients based on the POC.
  • Document patient progress and complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers and support team members to ensure effective patient care.
  • Provide clinical supervision to rehab aides.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
  • PT-Physical Therapist licensure or certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. The Physical Therapist will be required to stand, walk, and move around the facility as needed.
