As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of a team recognized as the Welding Expert for its leading materials science, software development, automation engineering, and application expertise. This expertise advances customers' fabrication capabilities to help them build a better world.

The successful candidate will be responsible for engineering a well-defined section of a larger project or acting as a project engineer on a small project. They will take standards and formats given by the Project Engineer and incorporate them into a part of the project.

The Controls Engineer will design control panels from schematics to layouts and Bill of Materials. They will coordinate with the Project Engineer regarding schedule, design concepts, and other status information on areas of concern. The engineer will ensure that designs are consistent with other designs on the project.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred. They will have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and be able to write software on assigned areas. The engineer will provide engineering liaison to manufacturing and field service departments.
