Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Our global Fortune 500 manufacturing client is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Quality Engineer to lead quality projects and drive improvements in plant operations and supplier engagement. This role will leverage problem-solving techniques to enhance and sustain plant quality performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead process assessments and performance improvement activities to drive quality excellence.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of quality performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions.
  • Lead monthly quality performance and project status reviews to ensure effective project execution.
  • Support the deployment of IATF QMS requirements within the site, participating in internal audits and ensuring compliance.
  • Validate the implementation of corrective and improvement actions across the value stream to assess their effectiveness.
  • Monitor operational metrics and customer/supplier performance to proactively address potential issues.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of combined experience in a Quality role in operations.
  • Expertise in PPAP - Production Part Approval Process.
  • Expertise in Root Cause Analysis.
  • Experience in Automotive Supplier manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience working on the floor.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS in Engineering or other related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong preference for experience with ISO 13485 or IATF 16949.
  • FDA background preferred but not required.
  • Injection blow molding experience preferred but not required.
  • Green belt/black belt certification.
  • Experience with Process FMEA.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary range $90,000 - $110,000.
