Mid Cities Psychiatry is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor to join our team. As a mental health specialist, you will work closely with patients to provide one-on-one psychotherapy and counseling services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for patients aged 16 and above
- Maintain accurate and timely notes in our electronic medical record system
- Work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- We foster a collaborative and structured work environment where team members work together to achieve our goals
- Our medical director and CEO maintain an open-door policy, ensuring open communication and transparency
- Providers are expected to focus on clinical work, while administrative tasks are handled by other departments
- We prioritize patient needs, scheduling appointments accordingly
- Competitive salary: $55,000 - $85,000 per year
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance, effective on the first day of the month after 60 days of employment
- PTO, public holidays, sick leave, and CME time off
- 401(k) contribution of 3.0% after 12 months of continuous employment
- Quarterly bonus
- Up to $1,000 annually for CME, professional dues, memberships, books, journals, and other miscellaneous items
- Master's degree required
- US work authorization required
- Licensed to provide mental health treatment in the state of Texas
- Strong clinical background with experience in psychotherapy
- Highly organized, self-motivated, collaborative, curious, and proactive
- Working knowledge of EMR/EHR
- Bilingual a plus
