Odell Medical Search is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join their Cardiac Surgery team in a hospital in the St Louis, MO area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in perioperative nursing and experience as a first assistant to cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgeons during surgical procedures in the Cardiothoracic operating room (CTOR).
Responsibilities include providing First Assistant support in complex cardiac cases and procedures, including cardiac bypass surgery, aortic-valve surgery, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), transplants, and assist devices. Additionally, the RNFA will be responsible for harvesting vessels for bypass procedures and monitoring patients' responses to modify the plan of care accordingly.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Shift: 4-10's, rotating day off. Call: Weekday 1 every 2 weeks, Weekend 1 every 8 weeks.
