Interview Process:
In-person interview will include a practical assessment of cable assembly skills.


Key Requirements:

  • Proficient in building Cat 5e and Cat 6e cables with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and cable run sheets.

Experience with hand crimping tools, including DMC, Molex, Terminal lug crimper, Client, Hirose, JST tool, and BNC crimper is essential.

Knowledge of the electronics industry is required, including familiarity with connectors such as Molex, Client, AMP, Cannon, JST, Hirose, and Mil spec components.

Applicants should possess 2 to 5 years of experience in soldering PC board surface mount and through-hole components, as well as Mil Connectors.

Preferred Qualifications:
IPC-620 and IPC-J-STD-001 certifications are preferred but not mandatory.


Work Environment Overview:
Manufacturing setting with a focus on a variety of electro-mechanical assembly tasks for electronic components.


Primary Responsibilities:
As an Electromechanical Assembler, you will engage in all aspects of assembling electronic components.


Duties may include:

  • Non-repetitive assembly operations based on diagrams and drawings.
  • Mechanical assembly and soldering to J-STD-001 standards.
  • Building prototype assemblies and performing cable assembly.
  • Circuit board assembly and complex wiring using hand and power tools.
  • Utilizing manufacturing software and Microsoft Office for documentation.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation for future reference.

Basic Qualifications:
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with various functional departments. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Experience in soldering and assembling electronic components, with knowledge of electronic assembly industry standards, including ESD practices, is necessary.

Must have J-STD-001 and IPC620 soldering certification or the ability to obtain it (position contingent on certification acquisition).

Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and following written instructions is essential, along with strong skills in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.). Costpoint experience is a plus.

Ability to adhere to safety protocols and lift up to 25 lbs. with assistance is required.

Experience in a defense contracting environment with multiple ongoing projects/contracts is preferred.


Preferred Qualifications:
Current J-STD-001 soldering certification is advantageous.

Experience in rework processes and familiarity with cable assembly practices are beneficial.
