Job Summary

As a Site Manager at IFS, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring that all aspects of the job are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes managing a team of janitorial operations personnel, providing training and feedback, and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage operational, financial, and labor planning aspects, including budgeting and workforce management.
  • Provide direct supervision of assigned janitorial operations personnel.
  • Ensure proper training for all personnel in their respective positions.
  • Measure performance, provide feedback, and develop staff, prioritizing employee safety and timely incident reporting.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure coordination and successful execution of daily operations, resolving deficiencies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain coverage for all shifts by coordinating and collaborating with shift leads, confirming daily schedules.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures, issuing disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Implement company use of machinery and safety programs, including forklift training.
  • Manage chemicals and supply inventory, ensuring employee safety and proper use of PPE.
  • Perform other tasks and projects deemed reasonable and reasonably requested by the customer and/or leadership team.
Requirements
  • Experience in large distribution warehouses.
  • 10-Hour OSHA certification training for general industry.
  • OSHA standards Forklift/Scissor lift operator certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in janitorial operations strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory and leadership experience in distribution centers.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills – computer literate.
  • Skilled in critical thinking with the ability to multitask and balance strategy and execution.
  • Ability to manage change and use good judgment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional relationship management and ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Experienced with the application of human resources processes and procedures, including full staffing lifecycle, interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations.
  • Must successfully pass a background check, drug test, and have a valid Driver's License.
  • Must be able to walk/stand for a period of 10-12 hours in an environment of variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variations.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs, stoop, balance, climb, kneel, crawl, bend, or reach, and walk/stand for a period of 8-12 hours in an environment of variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variations.
