Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement of food and supplies within budgetary constraints, ensuring sufficient stock for all meals.
  • Provide expert guidance and administrative oversight for diet planning, menu development, preparation, and serving of both standard and specialized diets.
  • Ensure that meals are nutritious, appealing, and prepared promptly and consistently, in accordance with established menus and dietary orders.
  • Conduct interviews with residents and their families, as needed, to gather dietary history.
  • Complete the dietary section of clinical records accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in regular meetings, including departmental head conferences and interdisciplinary care planning sessions.

Qualifications

  • Must hold registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Serve Safe certification is required.
  • Preferred experience of one to two years in management or supervisory roles.
