About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Pilkington. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks to maintain the operation of our facilities.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance as scheduled to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
  • Work on projects as scheduled or required to maintain the operation of our facilities.
  • Assist in training other team members to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Participate in audits and quality control processes to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Adhere to 5S and housekeeping standards to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure maintenance work meets required standards and participate in required training and assessments.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of the selection process for the maintenance technician.
  • Pass the skill assessment for the field.
  • Ability to work in a safe, efficient, effective, and reasonable pace.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including 12 hour shifts, 8 hour shifts, day shifts, night shifts, and overtime.
