We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at LGSTX Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing skilled maintenance, repair, and upkeep of facilities components and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform reactive repairs and preventative maintenance on all equipment, including conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Safely operate all equipment associated with the manufacturing and demolition of conveyor systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and construct mechanical and electrical systems, including compressors, air lines, diverters, cylinders, switches, VFD's, control devices, and systems.
- Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets, coordinating with operations, locating parts/tools for repair, and scheduling time with equipment.
- Act as a liaison between LGSTX Services and contractors on maintenance, modifications, and operations of equipment.
- Available to work flexible schedules, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays as per our customers' production schedules and requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 5 years of verifiable prior work experience with industrial or commercial maintenance work as a maintenance technician or mechanic.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work without direct supervision and/or as part of a team.
- Two to four years of formal approved technical training, apprenticeship, or schooling in industrial or commercial maintenance, including mechanical and electrical.
The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
