Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with strong leadership skills to lead our emergency department team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of supervisory experience and a proven track record of providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide shift supervision for Patient Transporters and Support Associates (approximately 8-10 FTEs per shift)
- Assist in monitoring the workflow for supply and equipment management and patient transport functions
- Conduct quality assurance on specialty carts to ensure supplies are stocked appropriately
- Respond to urgent pages from clinical staff, troubleshoot issues, and solve problems to ensure appropriate clinical support
- Transports patients to areas throughout the hospital facility
- Delivers specimens to laboratories
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
- At least two years of supervisory experience in a similar clinical setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift and move patients safely
