**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide direct patient services and work collaboratively with the treatment team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

**About the Role**

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy and current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice. A minimum of one year of experience in a setting serving the same age/type of patient population served by this facility or department is preferred. Critical Care Experience is strongly desired.

**Responsibilities**

  • Evaluate patients to determine the need for occupational therapy intervention and make referrals to other treatment team members as needed.
  • Develop realistic goals with patient input and explain the treatment plan and goals to the patient.
  • Implement treatment or supervise treatment provided by Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or occupational therapy student.
  • Communicate effectively with physician, other members of rehabilitation team, and others regarding treatment plan and patient response.
