At Commonwealth Hand and Physical Therapy, we are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with patients who require specialized care and rehabilitation services.

About the Job

This is a full-time position that involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapies to help patients achieve their goals. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with healthcare professionals, including physicians and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify areas of need and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Deliver occupational therapy sessions to patients, focusing on activities of daily living, fine motor skills, and other essential functions.
  • Monitor patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Communicate regularly with healthcare teams, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and efficiently in electronic medical records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and documentation systems.
  • CPR certification.
Estimated Salary Range

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
