Job Summary:

Vannguard Utility Partners Inc. is seeking responsible and self-motivated individuals to join our team as Excavation and Utility Specialists. As an Excavation and Utility Specialist, you will be responsible for locating underground utilities and preventing damages in the excavation, landscaping, and construction community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a company vehicle to job sites and use computer utility maps and specialized equipment to locate underground cables, pipes, and other underground utilities.
  • Indicate utility locations through the utilization of paint, flags, and communicate other relevant information to excavation personnel or other appropriate authorities.
  • Respond to after-hours emergency call-outs in accordance with the established rotation schedule.

Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Valid driver's license in applicable state of employment (Required)
  • Computer skills (Preferred)
  • Utility locating experience (Preferred)
