Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare exceptional food items following standardized recipes and directives to align with production, delivery, and service timelines.
- Serve meals or prepare them for delivery by ensuring proper portioning, meeting established standards, and guaranteeing that food is served at the appropriate temperature while being visually appealing and flavorful. Conduct taste tests on all prepared dishes.
- Utilize established ticket collection methods during service and maintain accurate records for the area worked during service periods.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen post-preparation and serving, upholding high cleanliness standards. Properly store or dispose of surplus food in line with safe food-handling practices.
- Ensure that refrigerators and storage areas are kept tidy and organized, with food and supplies stored according to standards.
- Operate and care for kitchen equipment as directed.
- Assist in production planning, record-keeping, and reporting as necessary.
- Support the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as needed.
- Promptly report any required maintenance, malfunctioning equipment, or incidents to the supervisor.
- Participate in in-service and safety meetings.
- Foster positive working relationships with colleagues, customers, administrators, and management.
- Adhere to safety protocols while maintaining a clean and secure work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chefs.
