Job Overview:

Goodwill Industries of Greater New York is seeking a skilled Property Management Specialist to manage the upkeep of our facilities. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About You:

We are looking for someone with 4-9 years of experience in facilities maintenance or construction, preferably in office, retail, or warehouse environments. A clean driving record and valid driver's license are required. Proficiency in building systems and mechanicals is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program.
  • Manage vendor relationships and track work orders.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and document findings.
  • Collaborate with site managers to address facility conditions and employee concerns.
  • Partner with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or certification from a technical school preferred.
  • Experience in facilities maintenance or construction.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
