Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Mechanic to join our team at Precision Castparts Corp. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of assembly tasks with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble moderately complex parts with a high risk for potential error.
  • Perform basic inspection operations to ensure component alignment, clearance, cleanliness, and fastening.
  • Maintain area organization and cleanliness throughout the shift.
  • Assist and train lower-level assembly mechanics as necessary.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of assembly or related mechanical experience.
  • Proficiency in basic shop math and print reading.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and basic assembly tools such as clamps, rivet guns, countersinks, and drills.
  • Ability to use basic inspection tools such as scales, micrometers, calipers, and feeler gauges.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, carry up to 20 ft, and load parts in fixtures weighing up to 35 lbs.
