Nurse Practitioner

Virtua Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer and monitor therapeutic interventions and regimes, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Effectively manage rapidly changing situations, prioritizing patient needs and communicating with the healthcare team.
- Participate in clinical decision-making, utilizing evidence-based practice to inform care decisions.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, individual care needs, and wellness strategies.
- Delegate and monitor care rendered by other nursing staff and healthcare team members.
- Demonstrate standard precautions and patient safety principles in practice.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, identifying opportunities for quality improvement.
- Maintain professional and departmental level competencies, staying up-to-date with current nursing practices and standards.
To be successful in this role, you must have a valid NJ RN License and demonstrate knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, and procedures. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate efforts with a team of care providers are essential.
