Nurse Practitioner

Virtua Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Per Diem capacity. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care.
- Administer and monitor therapeutic interventions, documenting patient progress and outcomes.
- Effectively manage rapidly changing situations, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
- Participate in clinical decision-making, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, individual care needs, and wellness strategies.
- Delegate and monitor care rendered by other nursing staff and healthcare team members.
- Demonstrate standard precautions and patient safety principles in practice.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Maintain professional and departmental level competencies, staying up-to-date with current nursing practices and standards.
To be considered for this role, you must have a valid NJ RN License and demonstrate knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, and procedures. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate efforts with a team of care providers are essential.
