LCH Health and Community Services is excited to announce an opportunity for a highly qualified Addiction Specialist Physician to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in the implementation of the Medication Assisted Treatment Program in Southern Chester County.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Medical Director and Associate Director of Mental Health to define the scope and content of this project. The primary function of the Addiction Specialist Physician is to provide comprehensive care for addiction and substance-related disorders, including screening, diagnosis, intervention, and treatment.

We are seeking a dynamic individual who can collaborate effectively with our team to develop and lead this service line. The ideal candidate will have experience working in progressively responsible administrative or management-related positions within a primary health care environment.

Key qualifications and skills include:

  • A current MD or DO license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • Certification by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) or the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM)
  • Credentialing under Medicare, Medicaid, and other commercial insurance

Preferred candidates will have experience working in medically needy or underserved communities and in a community health center setting. Proven success supervising providers and clinical staff is essential, as well as the ability to provide services and exercise leadership in a culturally, socioeconomically, and linguistically diverse setting.

This position offers a competitive salary of $200,000 per year, as well as benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and LTD insurance, a retirement plan with employer match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, paid time off, and holidays.
