Job Opportunity

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce management solutions, dedicated to connecting skilled professionals with meaningful career opportunities. We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist for our client, a prominent aerospace company in Gilbert, AZ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate Swiss machines, including Tornos Deco 10, EVO Deco, Citizen R04, K16, and L20, as well as Tsugami BW129Z and SS32.
  • Perform first article inspections and troubleshoot maintenance and quality issues on the machines.
  • Assist in meeting production schedules and quality requirements.
  • Communicate problems and procedural issues, and suggest improvements for production and quality.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and perform other duties as assigned.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Perform machine setup and first article inspection.
  • Perform required machine maintenance.
  • Assist in training other machinists.
  • Ensure production priorities are followed.
  • Makes management aware of any quality/production problems.
  • Use microscopes, calipers, micrometers, weights, optical comparators, and other inspection devices.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of all paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Minimum HS diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in a CNC Swiss machining environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with all other personnel.
  • Ability to follow directions and perform complex duties.
  • Good hand and eye coordination.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
