Order Selector/Packer

As a key member of our Produce Warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient selection, stacking, and shipping of orders. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Select and obtain appropriate equipment
• Obtain assignments using automated voice recognition computer systems
• Stack products on pallets according to specifications to ensure maximum cube utilization with minimum damage
• Secure pallets with plastic wrap for shipment to stores
• Maintain production percentage based on engineered labor standards
• Complete necessary paperwork as required
• Position pallets properly on trailers
• Ensure efficient and courteous customer service to store locations

• Assist on the dock with proper loading of trucks
• Perform sanitation tasks
• Stock slots
• Operate forklifts if certified
• Ensure that pallet jacks are placed on chargers at the end of shifts
• Perform occasional yard work

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
• Good physical condition and stamina
• Ability to work in a cold and damp environment
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. from floor to chest-high level
