About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Backend Engineer to join our dynamic and rapidly expanding team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our high-traffic web applications, ensuring their scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust, and high-performance backend systems, using C# and.NET.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
  • Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards.
  • Engage in application deployment, security setup, and performance tuning.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and system flexibility.
  • Create technical specifications and test plans.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in backend development, including expertise in C# and.NET.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration, unit testing, and automated testing.
  • Proficient understanding of database schema design and SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for tackling complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
