Position Summary:
Pate Rehabilitation is on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Transport Specialist.

The primary role of the patient transporter involves using company vehicles to safely convey our esteemed patients to various medical appointments, essential errands, and other necessary activities.

This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in our healthcare team and deliver an essential service to the patients we support.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport patients to and from Pate facilities, medical appointments, and their residences as required using company vehicles.
  • Follow the established transportation schedule diligently.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of company vehicles, reporting any issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Assist patients with entering and exiting vehicles as necessary.
  • Transport supplies as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to interact effectively with patients, families, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Must successfully complete all pre-employment and employment screenings.

Pate Rehabilitation, an affiliate of Rehab Without Walls, specializes in delivering evidence-based therapies including physical, occupational, speech/language, and neurocognitive therapies, along with vocational rehabilitation, to enhance and expedite patient recovery – assisting individuals recovering from acquired brain injuries in achieving the highest possible quality of life.


Compensation:
USD $13.00 / Hour
