Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse - LVN/LPN

About the Role

As a Private Duty Nurse with Aveanna Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one care to our patients in their homes. You will work closely with our patients, their families, and our clinical team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in our system of record
  • Provide health education and training to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state where you will practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable transportation
