Audiology Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a per diem Audiologist to work weekdays from 7:00am to 12:00pm. The successful candidate will perform audiological assessments for the adult and elderly population in sub-acute and long-term care environments.
Key Responsibilities- Administer standard audiologic test battery
- Prepare diagnostic reports
- Make recommendations regarding appropriate follow-up and management
- Recommend and dispense hearing aids
- Maintain all records regarding hearing aids dispensed according to NY State law
- Arrange for semi-annual exhaustive calibration of audiometric equipment
- Master's degree in Audiology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology
- NY State license in Audiology
- Eligibility for NY State hearing aid dispenser license
- Two (2) years' experience as an audiologist
- Vaccinated against COVID-19
