Job Title: Audiologist

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $85 Per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm

Job Summary: Provide comprehensive audiology services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Conduct diagnostic hearing tests, evaluate middle ear function, prescribe and fit hearing aids, offer counseling, and provide ongoing support.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic hearing tests and impedance/middle ear testing.
  • Evaluate hearing aid candidacy, provide recommendations, and conduct follow-up care.
  • Offer counseling, support, and on-site training to individuals and staff.
  • Complete billing for Medicaid, Medicare, and third-party insurance accurately.
  • Maintain compliance with clinic protocols and participate in training sessions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Audiology or related field.
  • Valid New York State audiology license.
  • Authorized Hearing Aid Dispenser.
  • Enrolled in Medicaid/Medicare.
  • 2+ years of experience with developmental disabilities.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid billing processes.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
