- Provide support to walk-in and telephone inquiries related to insurance services.
- Facilitate the sale of memberships and assist in selling insurance to potential clients.
- Aid members with modifications to existing policies or memberships, including renewals and billing inquiries.
- Process payments for memberships and insurance products.
- Confirm insurance coverage for lien holders and leasing companies.
- Prepare binders upon request.
Administrative Duties:
- Perform typing and other clerical tasks, including letters, forms, cards, rush escrows, and evidence of insurance.
- Generate insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
Communication:
- Maintain positive and effective communication with all staff members.
- Foster an open and constructive relationship with management.
Service Support:
- Provide assistance to both management and sales agents.
- Engage in cross-selling opportunities to enhance service delivery.
- Resolve member and insured-related issues using discretion and independent judgment, referring complex matters to the appropriate level.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience preferred.
- Moderate proficiency in data entry is essential.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
- Advanced customer service skills are desirable.
- Property and Casualty/Solicitors License required.
- Valid Property and Casualty Insurance License in the selling state must be obtained within one year.
