Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist II to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including intraoperative and mobile procedures, as prescribed by licensed practitioners.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, maintaining proper equipment performance and scheduling maintenance as needed.
  • Assist licensed practitioners in the performance of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including intraoperative and mobile procedures.
  • Independently perform radiographic and non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures, including intraoperative and mobile procedures.
  • Ensure proper radiation safety protocols are followed, minimizing exposure to patients, self, and others.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program. Certification required within 6 months of hire post-graduation from an accredited Radiology Program.
  • Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography - RT(R), required.
  • Applicable state licensure as required, required.
