About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Climate Change Media Liaison to join our Marketing & Communications team at TreePeople. This role will be responsible for developing and executing effective communication strategies to promote our mission and work, particularly in the areas of climate change and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement public relations campaigns to raise awareness about climate change and sustainability issues.
• Collaborate with staff across departments to create compelling content for various platforms.
• Serve as a liaison between the Marketing & Communications team and other departments to ensure consistent messaging.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media outlets, reporters, and editors.
• Develop and distribute press releases, advisories, and messaging materials that showcase TreePeople's impact and mission.

Requirements:
• 2-3 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the current media landscape, particularly related to environmental issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening, negotiating, public speaking, and writing.
• High level of organization, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Spanish fluency is preferred.

Salary:
$31.25 per hour.
