Position Overview

"ACCOUNTABLE FOR ALL HR ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSES IN ALIGNMENT WITH REGIONAL AND LOCAL STRATEGIES, POLICIES, AND GUIDELINES"

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure robust administrative processes within the Distribution Center.

- Assist the HR team with the management of hourly recruitment, interviewing, and screening activities.

- Facilitate recruitment efforts by posting job advertisements, managing online applications, scheduling interviews, and maintaining strong partnerships with external recruitment agencies.

- Oversee and input all employee data into the local system, including documentation for new hires and updates on status changes.

- Guarantee that worked hours, absences, and vacation days are accurately recorded in the local time and attendance system, with timely notifications to the Payroll department.

- Support the management team in monitoring and reporting on employee attendance and punctuality to ensure a fair and consistent approach to absences.

- Assist the HR Generalist with employee relations administration.

- Conduct audits of employee files to ensure all documentation and work permits are complete and valid.

- Aid HR in preparing any necessary union documentation.

- Assist in coordinating the rollout of special HR initiatives, projects, and programs.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES:

- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

- Flexible and efficient time management skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Familiarity with local labor regulations, documentation, and policies (e.g., GDPR) alongside H&M values.

- Strong organizational and planning capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.

- Proficient in Office 365 and internal administrative platforms.

- Ability to collaborate and co-create with team members.

- An agile mindset with a positive approach to change and growth.

- Inclusive and empathetic towards others while promoting diversity.

- Understanding of your impact on others and your contribution to the broader organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent relevant experience.

- 2 to 4 years of administrative experience in a large, complex organization or distribution center.

- Experience with unionized workforces is advantageous.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

- Experience with reporting processes.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

- Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

- Strong customer service skills, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and maintaining relationships with peers and management.

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

- Knowledge of H&M employee handbook policies and union agreements to communicate effectively with employees.

- Excellent organizational skills.

- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Compensation: wage range is $24.60 hourly.
