Job Details

The individual in this position routes all deliveries. This position is also responsible for answering incoming calls to support internal and external customers.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Schedules deliveries according to capacity and business conditions.
  • Records missed and/or re-delivery problems.
  • Submits completed delivery manifests and stop records by deadline for contractor settlement purposes.
  • Completes records for contractor settlement.
  • Communicates professionally with all internal and external contacts
  • Assist in customer pickups, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in inbound and outbound quality assurance processes.
  • Operate and maintain order pickers and warehouse equipment.
  • May operate other specialized equipment to move and distribute freight

Non-Essential Responsibilities
  • Answers incoming calls promptly and accurately.
  • Maintains accuracy of ticket management system.
  • Prints accurate pick lists.
  • Completes other projects and special assignments as requested by manager and/or Senior Management.
  • Works varying hours to support the needs of the business.
  • Upholds Mattress Firm Brand Standards in the office and workspace so it creates a welcoming first impression for customers.

Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Professional Experience
  • 1+ Years Related Experience required And
Knowledge
  • Microsoft Office Products
  • POS system
  • Basic knowledge of city and outlying areas
  • General warehouse operations
  • Knowledge of the equipment and function of Powered Industrial Trucks for product relocation and safety inspection

Pay Range:

Up to $19.50 per hour
