Compensation:

$65,000 – $80,000 plus performance bonuses

Role Overview:

The Senior Tax Specialist will collaborate with the Tax Manager to deliver tax assessments, projections, estimates, and compliance filings for various reports. This role will encompass multi-state tax submissions, property tax evaluations, and appeals.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Specialist:
  • Aid in the compilation of year-end partnership tax documentation
  • Address all tax inquiries (Federal, State, Local)
  • Maintain comprehensive tax basis records
  • Collaborate with investors and fund managers on tax-related financial matters
  • Undertake special assignments as directed by the Tax Manager
Required Qualifications for the Senior Tax Specialist:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in public accounting
  • Familiarity with real estate and partnership taxation is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of property accounting is highly desirable
  • Willingness and capability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is mandatory
  • CPA certification is preferred
