The Judge Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Coordinator II to join our team. As a Material Coordinator II, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of materials and supplies within our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing Operations:
    • Create and edit manufacturing routings to ensure efficient production processes.
    • Generate programs for laser operations to meet production demands.
    • Review manufactured part prints to ensure quality and accuracy.
    • Check production inventory and forecasted inventories to identify potential shortages.
    • Transfer stock between departments to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Communicate with other departments about material transfers and production schedules.
    • Communicate with supply management on purchased parts and stock availability.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Update daily and weekly reports using Excel and other MS Office tools to track production progress and inventory levels.
  • Special Projects:
    • Occasionally draw and model simple parts for shop use.
    • Troubleshoot part requests from engineers and laser programs and manufacturing routings.

Requirements:

  • 2-year degree in Pre-Engineering, Manufacturing/Engineering Tech, Computer-Aided Drafting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • MS Office experience.
  • Organized and great communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to read 2D drawing/prints.
  • CREO and AutoCAD experience.
